Happy Valentine’s Day

My mom and I love Valentine’s Day.  She always made it so special for me growing up.  I just felt really loved and special on Valentine’s Day.  🙂

My husband and I enjoy doing that for one another and our children.  Everything in me says ‘buy them a gift’ because it’s fun and, honestly, easy.  But this year I tried to add in some other things to make it special.

A special breakfast … (the eggs are a regular around here for breakfast, but this morning I added the berries and my valentines mug!)

A special breakfast for the kids:

Words of encouragement in the form of valentine’s cards in my kids lunch boxes.  I have a special card for my hubby for later on …

May you have a wonderfully loving Valentine’s Day today.  May the lasting words of truth from the One who rescued us from all things unloving encourage your heart today …

“Dear friends, we love because love comes from God.

This is how God showed His love to us: He sent His only Son into this world so that we can know Him.

True love is God’s love for us! God sent His son to take away our sin!

This is how much God loved us!”

1 John 4:7-8, ICB

Much love to you all today!

I do love Valentine’s:) Thanks for telling me I made it special for you-just goes to show we need to tell people how much we love them cause I never knew I made it extra special for you. We were discussing love passages last night in Bible study-so many of them-God is the very essence of love and why it is so important for us to love others. I love you Holly:)
